Maggie
Maggie Lyons was conceived in Nebraska. She has little to say about that. She gestated in and about Washington, DC, where her pending presence caused President Richard Milhous* Nixon no small measure of rancor and irritation (a bit of strange truth there, not fiction). She was born and raised in The Valley, just north of Los Angeles.
.
That was totally not her fault.
.
Her book, Damn It, Jane Damsel, is a badly behaved work of quirky, romantic commercial fiction about an earnest and optimistic young heroine whose world is turned upside down the moment she meets Mack Chester. The heart of the shop owner was the last thing Jane had been planning to steal when she wandered into Mack’s Pawn with a gun duct taped to her hand, but it is what it is. There are many guns in this story, a couple of bad guys who are as emotionally delicate as they are stupid, and there’s some sex in it as well.

Maggie is represented by Josh Getzler at Russell and Volkening, Inc. She lives in Boston with her husband, three Roombas, and one badly behaved cat. She enjoys writing. She also enjoys reading, all things involving sunshine and the ocean, admonishing the aforementioned badly behaved cat, and writing about herself in the third person.
